By Adi Shri

I would be posting small nuggets ? in a mini series. And the miniseries is on books.
These books are ofcourse on entrepreneurship; however would make you rich with alternate perspectives.
If you love reading, do wrap them up. If you do not enjoy reading, take an app like “Headway” and read these books in 15 minutes or listen to them.

A. The War of Art by Steven Pressfield – This would help you to overcome your resistance. ? He has a battle plan to get out this enemy within us and tap into our creativity.

B. 100 dollar startup by Chris Gillibeau – it addresses the issue “I need a lot of money to get into business”. It gives real examples with 50 stories. The book deep dives into action taking for weeks and months.

C. Deep work by Cal Newport – This book deep dives in building yourself to keep you miles ahead of competition. The ability to focus without distraction. It helps you to arrive at a sense of deep fulfilment and develop the super power of focus.

D. Never Eat alone by Keith Ferrazzi – This is a classic, guys. He is a master networker. Son of a steelworker and cleaning lady, he traversed with Harvard MBA, with relations in Washington’s corridors of power. Ferrazzi, a global leader by Davos, World Economic Forum.
And his networking is based on generosity and helping friends and not on so called business networking and glad handing.
He gives timeless networking strategies from Winston Churchill to Dalai Lama.

E. And yes, here goes the book on uncensored experiences.
The hard thing about hard things by Ben Horowitz – This is a no nonsense book. It helps you to get you out of problem with which you are stuck in business.
And he has amplified his business lessons with lyrics from his favourite rap songs.
You would love his humbling experiences and his straight talk and trademark humour.
Come on, get your reading glasses/cap on. You would only become a better human being, an entrepreneur, a legend.

The second in micro-series in the nuggets for entrepreneurship books.

A. The Lean Startup by Eric Ries – This book has taken a scientific, intuitive approach to lasting business. It dives into changed games and does not rely on business plans.

B. Rework by Jason Fried – This book has not relied on mainstream business mindset and culture or office space.

C. And some of you must be knowing this – Crush it by Gary Vaynerchuck. This book really drives you to work on your passion. It shows people to live life by acting upon their dreams.

D. The 22 immutable laws of the market by Al and Jack. This book gives time tested insights into lasting market success. It stops you from making fatal mistakes in the market place.

E. Click Millionaires by Scott Fox – This is for the digital bunch.
Guys, I know some of you do not enjoy reading.
Then listen or read the summaries through an app.
A book can change life.
I have thoughtfully handpicked these books for you to absorb.

So here we go,
The third and final on the mini-series of books for entrepreneurs.
A. The 4 hour workweek by Tim Ferris – This book is a favourite of mine. It challenges the commonly held views.

B. Purple Cow by Seth Godin – The book on your standing out. It is mundane to see the similar colours of cows again and again. And there comes the purple cow.

C. Mastery by Robert Green – He breaks down beautifully the common traits of masters in history. You would zero down on who you are. The book dwells on everyone having the potential to be a master.

D. The E-myth revisited by Michael Gerber – The book clearly brings on working ON your business or working IN your business. It covers too why most small businesses do not work and what can be done to make them work.

E. The Art of nonconformity by Chris Guillebeau – This would break you away from the toxic entourage, stay focussed, and take the money and life headway.
F. Blink by Malcolm Gladwell – This book gives you a know-how on pivotal decisions to make on business and when to make those decisions.
